Temperature Dependence of Density and Viscosity of Biobutanol-Gasoline Blends

چکیده
Butanol seems to be an eligible fuel for compensating the increasing consumption. Biobutanol could produced from local sources in place of use. Its properties show similar results gasoline, so biobutanol added as a biocomponent into fuels. Important properties, case blending are its fluid and their dependence on temperature. Therefore, this paper, volumetric mass density viscosity selected ratios between gasoline (0, 5, 10, 85, 100 vol.%) were tested over temperature range ?10 °C up 40 °C. Gasolines with 95 Research Octane Number (RON 95) 98 98) used. It was observed that increased, samples decreased nonlinearly. Four mathematical models used modelling viscosity. The accuracy evaluated compared according coefficient determination R2 sum squared estimate errors (SSE). blends 5 vol.% 10 promise very pure gasoline. In contrast, blend 85 shows different especially negative temperatures, lot. For practical applications, polynomial multivariate created. Using these models, three-dimensional graphs constructed.

Pressure and Temperature Dependence of Viscosity of Volcanic Lava
We consider a model of viscosity η of volcanic lavas. The equation, describes with high accuracy the existing experimental data on temperature and pressure dependence of viscosity of igneous materials. It is demonstrated that, the activation energy E(Tg) can be expressed through the glass transition temperature Tgo. The dependencies of the parameters of the viscosity equation are discussed for ...
متن کاملInfluence of oxygen-enrichment air intake and bioethanol–gasoline blends on exhaust emissions and fuel consumption of gasoline engine
Among human activities, motor vehicles play the most important role in air pollution. Air pollution has negative impacts on people and on the environment. In this paper the effect of oxygen-enriched air (20.8%, 21.8%, 22.8%, 23.8% and 24.8%) and different bioethanol-gasoline blends (zero, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%) in different engine speeds (1000 rpm, 2000 rpm and 3000 rpm) on the amount o...
متن کاملViscosity and temperature dependence of the magnetic isotope effect
The 13C enrichment observed in the first order photolytic decomposition of dibenzylketone (1,3-diphenyl2-propanone) was studied as a function of solvent viscosity and temperature. The isotope effect is due to electron-nuclear hyperfine interactions in the free radical intermediates of the reaction. The results are explained using a continuum diffusion model and a simplified version of the radic...

Temperature dependence of bulk viscosity in water using acoustic spectroscopy
Despite its fundamental role in the dynamics of compressible fluids, bulk viscosity has received little experimental attention and there remains a paucity of measured data. Acoustic spectroscopy provides a robust and accurate approach to measuring this parameter. Working from the Navier-Stokes model of a compressible fluid one can show that the bulk viscosity makes a significant and measurable ...
